Teams work together through assembling bikes. The twist is that some teams have three wheels, some teams have four pedals, some teams don't have seats . . . and what about the tools?!? It's team vs. team with people negotiating for parts and pieces all the while having to beat their competition to build their bike the fastest.
Who do you think you are building the bikes for? Half way through our exercise we introduce you to the charity who will be rewarded with your efforts. Now team building can be rewarding for both your group and for others. By adding a charity to your teambuilding you are changing the focus of your group from just assembling a bike . . . to working towards a good cause. You will watch your co-workers do a complete 180 as their motivations change from winning . . . to helping.
